Sashidhar V. Ganta, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board certified bariatric surgeon performing Roux-en-Y, Duodenal Switch, and Lap-Band procedures. Dr. Ganta is one of the most experienced bariatric surgeons in Austin and has undergone extensive training in India, England, Scotland, Ireland, and the United States.
Dr. Ganta earned his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada, India. He later completed his residency at the New York Medical Center in New Rochelle, NY. Dr. Ganta has been awarded "e;Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of England"e; and "e;Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland."e He is also an active member of prominent medical and surgical organizations.
