Nancy G. Marquez, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board certified general surgeon with advanced training in laparoscopy. Dr. Marquez's training includes laparoscopic colectomies, Nissen fundoplications, and both the Lap-Band and gastric bypass procedures for treating chronic obesity.
After receiving her medical degree from Baylor Medical School in Houston, Dr. Marquez was a surgical resident at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Disease, Texas Medical Association, and American Society of Bariatric Surgery, and is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
