Dr. Reiss has experience with a complete spectrum of general surgical problems. Her specific training includes a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Virginia. Dr. Reiss completed her M.D. at the Medical College of Georgia before going on to a five-year surgical residency in Mobile, Alabama. She is a member of several medical organizations including the Southeastern Surgical Society and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, as well as an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
